Celebrating International Women’s Day

Celebrating women in music all around the world, this concert featured an exclusive medley in tribute to the biggest Arab legends: Fairuz, Magida El-Roumi, Umm Kulthum, Asmahan and Warda; the first orchestral qawwali sung by a female vocalist as well as Armenian and Indian songs. “When women thrive, humanity thrives.” This is the driving principle behind Expo 2020 Dubai’s Women’s Pavilion - the first of its kind at a World Expo in the 21st century.
